We had survived Christmas, and we had survived the trip to Ohio to visit family. It seems incredible to me that a mere 7 months ago, adoption was not a vital part of our lives.
I came downstairs after spending the night in my old bedroom, and my mom said, "Get on facebook! You've got to see what your old roommate is up to!"

She'd gotten married in Chicago a few years ago. I'd gone to her wedding. We'd chatted off and on since then, but nothing super serious or long.

Wow! Incredible! I was so proud of them, so inspired and moved by their faith in action. I could not wait to find out more about their journey.
At the time, I had no idea that God would use their journey--their faith--as the catalyst to Marc's and mine.
