She not only contacted her friend, who had met the girls; she put her friend in contact with me. Rachael was super nice and sweet. She had a ton of additional information on the girls, and she had pictures and a short video.
After talking with her, I watched the video, and my heart absolutely melted. The girls were precious! One was more vocal than the other, and her excitement and enthusiasm were just adorable! The other one had these big eyes that took every thing in, and her face was just filled with wonder.
I began to dream about them.
Some dreams were good. I would touch their hair, or have them sitting on my lap.
Some dreams were ugly. They were dirty, and sick, and in need of help. Or they were separated. That became my greatest fear.
I upped my prayers for them and continued to bring up the subject of adoption to Marc.
