Genesis 1: God Created the World

At the point of creation, God knew the hearts of his people. He knew Marc, and he knew me. He knew the children he would bring into our lives through birth and through adoption. Our story, every story, starts with this moment. 

Genesis 1:1-2: In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was formless and empty, and darkness covered the deep waters. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters.
