Apparently the motto for International Adoption is hurry up and wait. We signed with Christian Adoption Services for our home study, and spent the next several weeks gathering and gathering paper work. They would not schedule our home study visits until we had all paper work in. We had problems with some forms in Ohio, and it pushed me to the limits of patience like I have not yet been pushed. I know God is refining me. I also know that Satan is the Father of Lies, and he worked hard planting seeds of doubt and despair in my mind during that time. But, alas, the visit got scheduled! We had another one On Monday July 28 and another one on Sunday August 3. We love our social worker, and are so thankful to be working with an agency that shares our faith!
James 1:2-4 Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an OPPORTUNITY
for great joy. 3 For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. 4 So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.
