Jun 12 2014: A Notary!

I tutor a wonderful family from our church, and as we were discussing adoption paper work, the matriarch, Susan Bell, mentioned that there were two notaries at her husband's office.  One of them was Mary Ruth, a wonderful woman who used to work in Michael's Sunday School class.  NO WAY!  Susan contacted Mary Ruth, who told us that if we ever needed anything, she would help us out.

Let me tell you...parents who have adopted will swear up and down that the most important thing to have during the adoption process is a good notary, and here God plopped one right into our lap!

We go to her office almost daily with stacks of papers, and she just stamps and stamps and stamps.  She is seriously amazing.

We went one day with three envelopes of stuff that needed mailed, and she notarized all of the papers and then helped me put stamps on to mail them.  She refused to take money for the postage.

Thirty dollars worth of postage.

Seriously.

The Bells, Mike and Susan, and Mary Ruth, World's Best Notary, have just been incredible!
