May 10, 2014: Offer accepted

So, we put in an offer on this beautiful, one-of-a-kind, lots-of-rooms-to-fill-with-children house.  I was a little in shock, but believe it or not, at peace.  God had really given me faith in His guidance and faith in my husband, who I knew was praying hard about this decision.  This was a total God-change-my heart kind of peace, because the sin of doubt is something that overtook me and still sometimes overtakes me on a VERY, VERY regular basis.

I had no idea what would happen.

They countered much lower than we thought they would.

So we countered.

And then, as we were about to walk into a tiny, little theater in Davidson, NC to watch Robin Hood, Marc's phone rang and it was the Realtor.  And they countered.  And we accepted.

And we were under contract and on our way to owning a house, which would take us one step further in the adoption of our children!
